A two-year starter at Ole Miss, Brown rewrote the Rebels’ receiving record books. He set the school’s records for single-season catches (85), yards (1,320), touchdowns (11) and the career records for receiving yards (2,984) and 100-yard receiving games (12).
Brown has experience lining up primarily as a slot receiver. He is a polished receiver and reliable route runner. Brown has great size and length for a wideout. He uses that length to make difficult catches down the middle of the field. Brown does lack elite speed and struggles to separate, but he’s shown strong run after the catch ability with his tenacious and aggressive mentality.
Overall, Brown is a better bet to win against short and intermediate coverage, where he can use his skilled route running and frame to get open. Brown projects as a possession receiver at the next level, someone that gets open consistently and can move the chains.
