A huge rum festival is happening in Leeds next weekend

An event perfect for lovers of a Caribbean tipple is coming to the city once more, as Leeds Rum Festival returns to the Leeds Corn Exchange.

Festival organisers have teamed up with the city's annual Black Music Festival - happening on the same weekend - to provide the tunes to accompany over 100 different rums, with the event set to take place on Saturday, September 21.

There are a number of new rums to try this time round, and there will be also be a Rum Shack bar offering cocktails, highballs, beer and Prosecco.

Rum Festival founder Samantha Fish said: "We’ve always wanted to grow the Rum Fest and continue to bring people from all over the world whilst keeping it ‘Leeds’ and we think this partnership is symbolic of our ethos.

"This year’s visitors can expect steel pans, incredible costumes, song, and dance on top of our much-loved masterclasses, and over 100 expressions of Rum – all included in the ticket price."

How to buy tickets?
