A huge outdoor dinosaur trail is coming to Roundhay Park - here's how to buy tickets

A massive outdoor dinosaur trail is coming to Roundhay Park in Leeds.

Jurassic Encounter will see more than 50 animatronic dinosaurs create an incredibly eye-catching scene.

Highlights include an 18m tall t-rex that breathes and sways its tail as it hunts for prey, an iguanodon’s furious battle against a deinonychus, and pterosaurs that screech as they soar through the trees.

The trail will also include a 15m tall brachiosaurus guarding her eggs and a 16m long diplodocus which cries out.

The tour will visit cities including London and Glasgow, stopping in Leeds between October 23 and November 7.

Naz Kabir, spokesperson for Jurassic Encounter, says: “Dinosaurs have always captured the imagination of children and adults alike, and Jurassic Encounter will be a fantastic, interactive way to learn more about these fascinating creatures.

“We can’t wait to welcome our guests - and our prehistoric visitors - to parks up and down the UK this year.”

As well as the dinos there will be lots of stalls selling refreshments during a visit to Roundhay Park.
