– Yes, my journey in business began with children's clothing. At that time, I was a third-year university student and worked part-time at the market. It was an interesting experience that gave me an understanding of how the market operates. I realized that I knew where to buy goods and how to sell them, so I decided to register as an entrepreneur. However, my first store lasted only eight months, and I understood that I needed more knowledge and experience before continuing.

– So, your first store was unprofitable. How did you cope with this failure, and what lessons did you learn from it?

– It was an important lesson. I realized that a successful business requires not only desire but also knowledge. I went to work for a company engaged in the wholesale sale of auto parts, where I gained valuable experience. Working with VIP clients, I learned how to manage a business and build relationships with customers. This experience became the foundation of my future success.

– How did you come to create an online auto parts store, and what was the key factor in its success?

– In 2012, when I was beginning to recognize the full potential of the auto parts market, I decided to launch an online store. At that moment, seeing the growing demand and understanding that many car owners were looking for convenient and affordable solutions, I saw not just a business opportunity but an entire niche to fill.

I understood that in today's world, where time is one of the most valuable resources, customers need more than just a product assortment. I started by thoroughly studying my customers’ needs: what exactly they were looking for, what problems concerned them, and how I could help solve those problems. This understanding became the foundation of my business approach.

The key factor in success was not only offering competitive prices but also creating a system that ensured maximum convenience for customers. I aimed to make the shopping process simple and intuitive, from product selection to delivery. Fast delivery became one of my main priorities. I knew that customers wanted to receive their orders as quickly as possible, so I organized logistics to minimize waiting times.

I also introduced loyal terms that made customers feel secure and comfortable when shopping. This included flexible payment options, the possibility of returns, and a personalized approach to each client. I made sure that every customer felt valued, which undoubtedly played a role in building trust. Thanks to this approach, I not only gained customer loyalty but also significantly expanded my business.

– And you opened a branch in Crimea. How did you manage the changes related to the political situation in the region?

– Opening a branch in Crimea was necessary to maintain our customer base. I understood that with currency changes and political shifts, I needed to adapt. I opened a store in Crimea and continued working with customers. It was not easy, but I managed to preserve and even expand the business.

– You also have experience working with government procurement. How did this affect your business?

– Government procurement opened new opportunities for me. I started participating in tenders and supplying major clients, such as international airports. This allowed me to expand my customer base and increase turnover. That was when I realized that government contracts could be a stable source of income.

– How do you evaluate the current state of wholesale trade, and what changes do you foresee in the coming years?

– I believe that wholesale trade will continue to develop, especially with digitalization. Online sales are becoming increasingly popular, and companies need to adapt to these changes. Today, people expect convenience and speed when making purchases, which requires wholesalers to implement modern technologies.

I see the future in how technologies such as automation and data analytics can transform business approaches. Automation simplifies many processes – from inventory management to order processing and logistics. It not only saves time but also reduces the likelihood of errors, which is crucial in our industry.

Quick response to demand changes is becoming a top priority, and automation helps significantly in this. At the same time, data analytics opens new opportunities. It allows businesses to better understand what customers want, what trends are relevant, and how marketing strategies are working. With this knowledge, companies can offer more personalized solutions and build strong relationships with clients.

I believe that it is important not only to offer competitive salaries but also to maintain friendly relationships within the team.

– What advice would you give to young entrepreneurs who are just starting their business journey?

– First and foremost, do not be afraid of mistakes. Every failure is a lesson that helps you grow and develop. Mistakes may seem disappointing, but they often become catalysts for improvement and self-refinement. It is essential to see them as opportunities to analyze and identify weaknesses in your approach.
