We here at For The Win love writing about hair, whether it’s Tom Brady’s coifs or Brady’s teammates shaving off giant, bushy beards.
And after what we’ve seen with Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield this week, we’ve got to do a deep dive on his ever-changing looks over the past few years.
A reminder: the embattled quarterback came to his Week 9 game against the Denver Broncos with handlebar look … and then emerged with a ‘stache that was entirely different. He said he got rid of the other mustache because he “didn’t deserve it.”
So let’s look back at what Mayfield has sported through the years:
2017: Five O’Clock Shadow

This has been his look for much of his college career.
2017: Something a little more beard-ish

2017: The handlebar COMES OUT!

This was before a matchup again Oklahoma State, so it makes sense.
2018: Back to the stubble!

2018: Training camp? Beard time!

2019: It gets longer!

2019: Clean shaven Baker!!
2019: Training camp? Let’s stache it!

2019: Handlebar Heaven …

2019: … to this
