A healthy Dalvin Cook is a real problem for the rest of the league

After two weeks, Dalvin Cook looks like one of the best running backs in the NFL.

After running for 111 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 against the Falcons, Cook upped his production in Week 2, running for a career-high 154 yards and a touchdown.

Cook already has a career high in touchdowns (3) and his two 100-yard games match the total he had entering his third season.

The big if with Cook moving forward is his health. In his first two seasons, he missed 17 of 32 games with a torn ACL and a hamstring injury. This healthy Cook, though, changes the dynamic of the team’s offense and the Vikings are right to make him the focal point.

Cook will have his next opportunity at home in Week 3 against the Oakland Raiders, a team that ranked 30th against the run in 2018.

Don’t be surprised if Cook hits that 100-yard mark once again. With Kirk Cousins’ poor play in Week 2, the Vikings will give Cook every opportunity to.
