A Halloween screening of Hocus Pocus is coming to Liverpool

Nineties horror favourite Hocus Pocus is being screened in Liverpool this Halloween.

The movie is now 26 years old but its popularity hasn’t waned, with previous screenings in Liverpool selling out fast.

Hocus Pocus tells the tale of teenager siblings Max and Dani Dennison, and their new friend Allison who decide to explore an abandoned house in Salem.

Max accidentally awakens its former residents - a coven of evil witches played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.

The witches have until sunrise to secure their immortal existence unless the friends, and a 300 year old magical cat, can outsmart them and save Salem.

Hocus Pocus is being shown at Woolton Picture House at 5.30pm on Halloween night. Tickets can be booked here.

The cinema is also showing The Shining on Halloween night at 8pm.
