A Halloween drive-in cinema is bringing classics like The Shining and Scream to Margam Park

Fancy a fright this Halloween from the comfort of your driver's seat?

A series of Halloween films will be shown at Margam Park from October 22 to 25, thanks to Adventure Drive-In's drive-in cinema events.

Organisers warn that you may have to hide behind the dashboard as they screen some classic fright fests to help you warm up for the spookiest time of year.

These will include Scream, The Lost Boys, The Shining, Hocus Pocus, The Blair Witch Project, Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, and The Conjuring.

Passengers can enjoy the films on a giant LED screen, with sound transmitted via state-of-the-art speakers given to each car upon arrival.

What's your favourite Halloween film? Tell us in the comments here.

Guests can bring their own food, snacks and drinks to enjoy from the comfort of their seats, with a full view of the huge LED screens.

How a typical Adventure Drive-In event looks (Adventure Drive-In)

It is among the big Halloween events announced for Wales, including a drive-thru scare maze.

These Halloween shows mark the end of Adventure Drive-In’s current tour - the UK’s biggest ever drive-in cinema tour - which started this July in Yorkshire and has since visited more than 20 towns and cities across the country.

To ensure the safety of its events, a number of measures have been put in place so that all Adventure Drive-In events are social distance friendly, including having plenty of space between parked cars and entry scanned via reg plates on vehicles to avoid contact with staff.
