Some of cricket’s most respected names and the England supporters’ group the Barmy Army have paid tribute to the career of the Australia fast bowler Mitchell Johnson after his decision to retire from all forms of international cricket at the age of 34.
Born in Townsville in Queensland, Johnson played 73 Tests and 153 one-day internationals in total, averaging 28.1 with the ball in the former and 25.3 in the latter. Here are some of the best messages to him on Twitter.
