LUCKNOW: A candidate in fray from Vidhan Sabha seat of Madhogarh in Jalaun has lodged a case against an unidentified girl accusing the latter of blackmailing him and demanding money from him.
In his complaint, the victim, Brajesh Singh Rajawat of Vibhuti Khand, said he got a call around 3 pm on February 26 and the unidentified girl talked lewd and in an abusive way.
“I disconnected the call immediately. A little later, the girl posted a message on my mobile phone and demanded money for deleting the message. I have a clean image both politically and socially. The girl has been blackmailing me since then with an aim to extort money from me,” he stated in the FIR.
ADCP, East Zone, Qasim Abidi, said that an FIR has been registered in the case and efforts are on to trace the number of the accused.
