A getaway BMW driver ran off from police but he left behind his car keys, cash and these drugs

A BMW driver ran off from police when he hit a dead end during a pursuit but left behind his car keys, cash and 16 snapbags of drugs.

The driver of the white 1 Series was being chased by officers in Bolton on Thursday evening (October 24).

But he 'chose the wrong turn' and ended up head on with a large metal container.

The getaway driver then got out of his car and ran off from officers.

But he left behind his car keys and police found cash and a large quantity of drugs inside the vehicle.

Officers seized the car and the property from inside.

In a post on the GMP Traffic Twitter page, a spokesperson tweeted: "BMW 1 Series chose the wrong turn during a Pursuit in Bolton last night, ending up head on with a rather large container.

"His night didn't get much better. he then forgot his Car keys, Cash + Drugs when he ran off.

"Car seized + all the property too #ThanksForTheGifts #SeeYouSoon ."
