A Friends reunion could be on the cards as stars enter 'talks'

The hit US sitcom Friends is loved by people in Bristol, the UK and across the entire world.

And fans will be pleased to know that according to the Hollywood Reporter, a potential reunion could be on the cards.

Friends is set to leave Netflix in the USA and move to the streaming platform HBO Max, although UK Netflix users are hanging onto it for now.

This has prompted speculation that HBO's parent company Warner are behind the drive to create a reunion special or more episodes.

Discussions are apparently taking place between the iconic six Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

The talks also include the series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman.

However, the site says that a deal is currently 'far from done' and says all agreements need to be reached before the stars, writers and producers start to work out scheduling.

HBO Max who are heading up the project have declined to comment on the matter, as have producers WBTV.

It's reported that Warner's direct-to-consumer chairman Bob Greenblatt is the 'driving force pushing for the Friends reunion'.

Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel, recently featured on the Ellen DeGeneres show. She said: "We would love for there to be something, but we don't know what that something is. So we're just trying. We're working on something."
