It may only be September, and Halloween is yet to come around, but there is now a festive film ready to entertain you at any given moment.

Festive favourites such as Holiday Road Trip, Christmas With The Kranks, Silver Bells and Defending Santa will kick off the movie marathon.

All of the big hits, including as Elf, Home Alone, The Grinch and more will undoubtedly be played frequently thanks to their ever-green popularity.

Sony Movies Christmas will also air special themed weekends for viewers to enjoy.

These include Bah Humbug, Christmas Animals, Santa Sunday and Christmas Comedy nights.

Every evening at 7pm, audiences will be gifted with an emotional film such as Moonlight & Mistletoe, Christmas Grace and All I Want For Christmas.

So if you can’t wait for the bells to jingle in December, you can start your festive journey right now.

The Sony Movies channel is available to watch 24/7 on Freeview 50, Sky 319, Virgin 424 and Freesat 303.
