A free food festival is happening in Bristol this weekend

Delivery service Deliveroo is bringing its free festival ‘World of Food’ to the Passenger Shed in Bristol on Saturday August 24.

The World of Food festival, which has happened across the country, will feature free food from some of Bristol’s favourite restaurants including TGI Fridays, Pho, Istu, Giggling Squid, L’Osteria, Msala Library, Picconliono and more.

On the day there’ll also be live music and plenty to drink as well as eat.

Those that attend will be greeted by a bar leading to a hidden diner serving all-American classics. From there, they can step into the streets of Italy where they can try some Mediterranean nibbles. A tuk-tuk, meanwhile, will transport them to Asia, where they can discover an array of food stalls.

And when attendees have had enough to eat and fancy taking a break between courses, there’ll be chill out zones where they can enjoy drinks and music.

Deliveroo says that whether guests are crazy about curry, mad for margherita or (dough)nuts for desserts, they’ll be spoilt for choice as they taste their way around the World of Food.

Emily Kraftman, Marketing Director at Deliveroo, is certain the festival will leave you feeling full.

She says: “With Deliveroo, our customers can eat what they want, where they want, when they want and through the World of Food, they can do just that.

“This is a festival for anyone and everyone, so gather your friends and family for a fun, food-filled, free day out.”

Deliveroo’s World of Food Festival will take place at The Passenger Shed in Bristol on Saturday 24 August.  Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
