A former public toilet in Blaenau Gwent is up for sale

If you've ever fancied taking on a renovation challenge and a half, here's your chance.

With broken and boarded up windows, it may not look much, but a council-owned toilet block which desperately needs a new lease of life is for sale.

The property, on Cwmcelyn Road in Blaina, is a detached brick building with a slate roof and total site area of 424 square metres. The sale includes one parking space and a grassed area to the rear.

The council say there is considerable internal damage to the building, and the property has materials containing asbestos present that may have been disturbed by the damage.

There will also be no internal viewings ahead of the sale of the site, however the property can be viewed externally from the carpark. Planning permission would also be required for any material change of use.

The freehold is being sold for the toilet and linked grounds. Bids are invited by informal tender.
