A former NFL player rambled so long before announcing a pick that a producer had to tell him to hurry up

The second night of the 2022 NFL Draft is under way in Las Vegas and things have been moving along at a pretty good pace in Round 2.

Well, things were going at a pretty good pace until former Minnesota Vikings running back Ed Marinaro came out to announce a pick and decided to talk for a very long time about his time in the NFL, his jacket, and a lot of other things.

He rambled for so long that a producer had to come out on the stage and tell him to hurry the heck up and just read the card, which he finally did.

But seriously, this took forever:

I’m happy for Ed and the career he had and the life that he has lived but that was way too long. Read the room, fella!
