A familiar face acts as Liverpool tour guide to Porto fans ahead of Champions League tie

Former Liverpool player and Portugal international Raul Meireles has been acting as a tour guide for Porto fans visiting the city.

The Reds take on Sergio Conceicao's side on Tuesday evening at Anfield in a crucial Champions League clash.

And the Primeira Liga team have roped in the assistance of the former midfielder to tell supporters places they should visit.

Meireles, who featured 44 times for Liverpool before making the move to Premier League rivals Chelsea, told the Porto fans some top places to visit.

First on the now retired player's list was the Radio City tower to take in the panoramic views of the city.

In the video. posted to Twitter. Porto fans up in the tower were able to spot Anfield in the distance.

Next on Meireles' must-see list was The Beatles' statue on the waterfront.

Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold deliver stirring Anfield message ahead of Liverpool's Champions League clash with Porto 

Porto fans posed in front of the fab four and proceeded to the world famous Cavern Club on the 36-year-old's advice.

The supporters seemed to be enjoying themselves as they belted out a rendition of The Beatles' hit song 'Hey Jude'.
