'A different gear' - Leeds United fans revel in Everton victory

Leeds United fans have been waxing lyrical about their team's performance - and two players in particular - in the victory over Everton.

Marcelo Bielsa's men beat Carlo Anceotti's side 1-0 in Saturday night's Premier League showdown at Goodison Park.

Raphinha scored the winner in the 79th minute - his first goal for the club following his move from Rennes.

The Brazilian winger certainly caught the eye of the Leeds faithful, along with the fit-again Kalvin Phillips, who was named man of the match.

On Twitter, @bengriff13 said: "Kalvin Phillips like a young iniesta tonight."

@BenPlacito added: "Phillips & Raphinha different gear today. Very important win against a quality side."

And @AdamIreland88 posted: "Raphinha is a baller!!! To everyone that’s why KP plays for England, Immense."

Meanwhile, @omicdaz tweeted: "Raphinha is going to be one of the best wingers in the league #fact."

The result lifted Leeds to 11th in the table - above the likes of Manchester United - while Everton remain sixth.

The Whites are back in action next weekend when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
