'A day without luck' - Nottingham Forest man wants Reds to bounce back quickly

It was a day without luck for Nottingham Forest, according to Brice Samba.

The Reds’ troubled record at Wigan Athletic continued on Sunday afternoon thanks to a Jamal Lowe strike 10 minutes before the break.

That 1-0 reverse meant it was eight visits to the DW Stadium or the JJB as it used to be and in the process, bring Forest’s 10-game unbeaten run in the Championship to an end.

Goalkeeper Samba Brice, though, was one of the Reds’ best performers on the day, making a string of important saves to at least keep Sabri Lamouchi’s men in with a chance, but chances came and went with Rafa Mir and Lewis Grabban both going close.

Forest don’t have long to wait before they’re back in action with a chance to return to winning ways and move back into the automatic promotion places.

Fresh from a defeat of their own on Saturday, Hull City are the visitors to the City Ground on Wednesday evening, and it’s important the Reds bounce back, says Samba.

“A day without luck,” he wrote on social media.

“Thanks for the travelling for the great support as always.

“We will work hard to find victory again and bounce back soon.”
