A college baseball broadcaster made the most amazing barehanded grab of a foul ball

The name you should know here is Geoff Haxton.

He’s the man on the mic for Texas Tech baseball, and earlier this week, he saw a foul ball being hit his way, literally right at him in the booth. He didn’t have to move an inch to snag the ball.

But would he make the catch? Maybe with two hands?

Nope to the latter. He reached out with a bare hand as if he was a catcher and POP — there it was, in his hand, and he kept the call going from beginning (“Coming right back at us!”) to end (“My hand hurts so bad right now.”).

This is the best:

What an amazing play!
