
To mark World Environment Day, which falls on June 5 every year, UBM Asia (Thailand) is holding the Asean Sustainable Energy Week 2019 (ASE2019) at Bitec Hall 101-103, Bang Na-Trat Road, from today until Saturday.
Hailed as Asean's largest and most comprehensive energy and environmental technology exhibition, the event features the latest innovations, and modern machinery and equipment from over 1,200 leading brands from 45 countries.
There are eight international pavilions from Germany, Switzerland, the US, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, China and Korea. The event also welcomes the world's top 10 solar panel manufacturers, including Canadian Solar, Jinko Solar, Lock Solar and LONGi Solar.
Leading brands in the alternative energy industry from all over the world will introduce visitors to amazing technological innovations in fields such as biomass, biogas, waste-to-energy, energy management, air pollution control, solid and wastewater treatment, water purification, energy storage, and motor and drive system components.
The highlight is the EV Drive & Ride activity by the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand, which offers free test drives of 100% electric driven cars such as the BMW i3s, BYD e6, Fomm One, Nissan Leaf, Hyundai Kona Electric, Hyundai Ioniq electric and more. The test drive is open to anyone who has held a driver's license for more than one year. Online registration can be done via testdrive.evat.online.
The expo is held in conjunction with three other major events: Pumps And Valves Asia (PV) 2019, a leading trade show on the latest technologies and innovations in industrial pumps, valves, seals and other process components; Thai Water Expo 2019, the most comprehensive international exhibition and conference on water and wastewater technology; and Electric Vehicle Asia 2019 featuring over 80 international seminars and presentations from leading companies.
