It’s going to be a high-flying, limb-contorting holiday season at the Chicago Theatre when Cirque du Soleil presents the world premiere of its first seasonal show.
The family-friendly “ ‘Twas the Night Before ...,” running Nov. 29-Dec. 8 at the Loop venue, will be a “vibrant acrobatic spectacle about the joy of sharing and friendship of Christmas,” producers promise.
Tickets ($30 and up) go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at msg.com/family.
After the Chicago run, “ ‘Twas the Night Before ...” will move to a theater in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Cirque has been presenting shows in Chicago for 30 years and earlier this month wrapped up a seven-week run of “Volta” in a Soldier Field parking lot.
