A charging cable that won't be left behind

June 02--Raise your hand if you've never left behind a charging cable while you're traveling.

The Skross Buzz Alarm Charge and Sync Cable is designed to save you some trouble. Once the cable is connected at both ends, a rectangular sensor integrated into the 3-foot-long USB cable starts beeping if the phone is disconnected from the cable while the USB end is still plugged in. To silence the alarm, you must disconnect the USB end, press a "snooze" button on the sensor or reconnect the phone.

The Buzz Alarm cable is available with a Lightning connector for iPhones, a Micro USB connector for Android phones, or a two-in-one connector, with an attached Lightning connector piggybacked onto a Micro USB connector. Note that the alarm will not sound if the USB end is disconnected with the Lightning or Micro-USB connector still plugged into the phone.

Skross Buzz Alarm Charge and Sync Cable costs about $40 with two-in-one connectors; $30 with Lightning connector; and $25 with Micro-USB connector. Info: www.lat.ms/skrosscable
