'A chance he will return to Juventus' - Raiola plans talks with Manchester United about Paul Pogba

Mino Raiola has confirmed he will speak to Manchester United regarding a new contract for Paul Pogba but admits the midfielder could yet return to Juventus next year.

Pogba, 28, has entered the final year of his current deal with United and as things stand could leave the club for nothing at the end of the current season.

With no new contract at Old Trafford agreed Pogba could also sign a pre-agreement with another European side in the new year ahead of becoming a free agent.

The Manchester Evening News revealed at the start of the month United are hopeful of keeping Pogba following the re-signing of Cristiano Ronaldo and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists his side can convince the Frenchman to commit his future to the club by being successful again.

Pogba has had a superb start to the season, providing seven assists in United's first four Premier League games and United currently sit at the top of the league table.

When quizzed on the future of Pogba his agent confirmed upcoming talks with United over his future but refused to rule out a return to former side Juventus.

“Paul Pogba is out of contract in June, so we’ll talk with Man United and we’ll see what happens," he told Rai Sport.

"Juventus? Paul still loves Turin. There’s a chance that Pogba will return to Juventus, yes - but it also depends on Juventus plans”.
