A CFL team signed a DT named Poop Johnson and everybody had obvious jokes

You never know how the day’s going to go on Twitter but this was something I didn’t expect to see today.

It was just a casual Wednesday afternoon when suddenly a tweet by the CFL’s official Twitter account showed up on the ol’ timeline.

It simply read:

“DT Poop Johnson has signed with the @TorontoArgos.”

Signings happen, of course. But that name really stood out because who in the world is named Poop?

Well, we did some research. His name is really Cory “Poop” Johnson. He played his college ball at Kentucky (we were unable to find out if that was his No. 1 or No. 2 choice of where he wanted to play) and in 2014 he might have shared why he’s called Poop.

Wednesday’s tweet by the CFL, which they quickly pinned to the top of their feed, went viral and sparked some obvious reactions.
