A Celebrity Edition Of The Traitors Australia Is Coming & We’re Loving The Cast Already

A third season of The Traitors is apparently in the works at Channel 10, with none other than The Real Housewives of Sydney star Krissy Marsh in talks to join the celebrity cast.

ICYMI, the Australian version of the reality show — which pits contestants against each other in a Mafia-style competition while all under the same roof — has so far aired two seasons, with the first being comprised of regular folk and the second dotted by celebs like Survivor’s Luke Toki and Below Deck’s Hannah Ferrier.

While the streets have been quiet as to The Traitors’ renewal following season two back in 2023, there’s now whispers that a new instalment is on the horizon, with a few notable developments that are sure to send the show’s remote countryside manor into a tizzy.

And who better to make waves on The Traitors than Mrs. Marsh, the OG of RHOS? It’s rumoured that the reality star — famed for her appearance on all three seasons of the gloriously unhinged Housewives iteration — will feature in The Traitors’ third instalment as part of a broader celebrity cast.

We don’t yet know which other celebs will appear in the season, but reports have mentioned that Marsh will be one of at least a few familiar faces to take on The Traitors. If anyone can snuff out a Traitor or befriend a Faithful, it’s the woman with enough gumption to face any number of treacherous Housewives dinner parties. We need Andy and a camera!

But Marsh’s tentative Traitors entry isn’t the only rumour doing the rounds, with speculation also mounting around host Rodger Corser’s future role on the show. The actor, known for shows like Doctor Doctor, had fronted The Traitors for its first two instalments, but it’s thought he may leave the show due to his current hosting gig on Channel 9’s quiz show The Floor.

It’s not known who might replace Corser as the face of The Traitors, but given that icon Alan Cumming hosts the US version — which collected consecutive Emmy wins for best reality competition series as well as Critics Choice Awards — there’s some pretty big shoes to fill.

I hear Jonathan LaPaglia has a famously free schedule these days, so why not swap-out the Survivor island for The Traitors manor? Alongside that name, rumoured replacements also include Joel Creasey (who has hosted a RHOS reunion) and Celia Pacquola, but nothing is confirmed at this stage.

Is this not giving Housewife title card? (Image: Channel 10)

It remains to be seen how the third instalment will play out, but Marsh could join a Traitors celeb alumni that includes season two castmates like House Husbands star Gyton Grantley, radio personality Ash Pollard and TikToker Ian Zaro

Even with all its backstabbing and strategising, The Traitors will be a bonafide cakewalk for Marsh, who’s been able to tackle the arguably trickier task that is a bunch date with a Real Housewife (yes, the capital letters are warranted).

Speaking of which, the fate of RHOS beyond its 2025 season is unknown, the the explosive reunion reportedly leaving much of the cast at odds. We don’t yet know whether the tensions have reached the point of the show being un-renewed, but I’m hoping and praying we’ll see Terry Biviano on our screens soon enough.
