A Cardiff bus got stuck on a hill for three hours

If you think you've had a bad day at the office, spare a thought for the driver whose bus got stuck on a hill.

This single decker was trapped after the driver turned off a main road and into a narrow dead end.

The incline on the hill meant the back end of the bus ended up wedged against the tarmac.

Despite several attempts to get out of the sticky situation, the vehicle just wouldn't budge.

Eyewitnesses said the vehicle remained stuck for around three hours - not only putting the bus out of action for that time but also blocking in cars on the street too.

One resident said: "When I went to bed at around 11.30pm it was still there."

The incident happened on Sunday on Pwll Mawr Avenue just off Wentloog Road, Rumney .

Cardiff Bus said it was aware of the incident.

A spokesman said: “We are aware of the incident which happened on Sunday in Rumney and an investigation is in progress.”
