A car was spotted being driven along with another car balanced on the roof

A car was seen driving with another car on top of it in west Wales.

The driver was said to be transporting the vehicle in Glan Yr Afon Industrial Estate, Aberystwyth, but instead of towing, had somehow managed to balance it on top of his own car.

How the car managed to drive with such a weight on it remains a mystery, along with why and how any of this was happening.

Dyfed-Powys Police officers tweeted about the incident, saying: "That's no way to move a second vehicle."

A spokeswoman for the force said: "There is an investigation into the incident ongoing. No arrests at this time."

She added: "Advice to the public is that when transporting vehicles it should only be done via specialist trailers with sufficient straps to fully secure the load to all corners.

"Also, extra entitlement may be needed on driving licences if the test was passed after 1997."
