A Burger King restaurant is opening in The Mall at Cribbs Causeway.
The fast food chain's latest Bristol branch will replace McDonald's, which closed on March 9.
It is not known exactly when the new takeaway will open in the shopping centre, but a Burger King spokesperson said it will be before the end of the year.
They told Bristol Live: "Burger King franchisees are regularly evaluating opportunities to bring our great-tasting products to more guests in new locations.
"We can confirm that there will be a new restaurant opening at this location later in the year; however, we do not have further information at this time.
"We will keep you informed when more information becomes available."
The new restaurant will join the nearby Burger King branch on Merlin Road, a short distance from The Mall.
In total there will be six restaurants belonging to the chain in Bristol after the launch, as well as sites slightly further afield at Bristol Airport and Severn View services.
