In an era where it’s become more and more difficult to launch a career from reality TV and monetise your 15 minutes of fame, a handful of contestants from the recent season of Big Brother Australia have taken matters into their own hands.
Holly Young, Colin Ridley, Vinnie Brigante and Abiola Oreyomi have each signed up to Swysh, a fairly new platform where they can earn money by filming personalised videos for fans.

What is Swysh?
Swysh is an Australian video-messaging platform that launched in 2019 and works similarly to Cameo, where users can book video messages from their fave celebs. The major difference between the two sites is that Swysh donates “at least 10 per cent” of video proceeds to local charity partners, with over $1.3 million raised so far.
While Swysh was initially created for Aussie sports fans to connect with their fave athletes, a bunch of reality stars have joined in recent years — including new additions Holly, Colin, Vinnie and Abiola.
“If you were thinking about getting some video messages from me, any facet, SWYSH is the place to do it,” Colin said in his example video.
“I’m so excited, I hope I can get as many of your videos done in one day as possible, brev. So if you’ve got any ideas, let’s do ‘em. No idea’s too big, too stupid, too small, no nothing. Let’s get ‘em done, brev!”
Only Colin and Vinnie have received reviews on their profile so far, with one user commending Vinnie for the “almost instant” turnaround time.
How much are the Big Brother contestants charging on Swysh?
If you were interested in getting a video of Holly wishing you a happy birthday, Colin calling you “Brevington”, or Vinnie listing reasons why he isn’t fake, the three housemates are each currently charging $55 per video message. Meanwhile, a video of Abiola napping will set you back $33.
If you thought these prices were exxy, there are plenty more Big Brother stars on rival site Cameo selling similarly-priced vids. 2020 winner Chad Hurst costs $45, 2021 winner Marley Biyendolo costs $55, and 2013 fan fave Ben Zabel is available for $75.
Leon Murray, aka the former voice of Big Brother, is also selling vids for $73 on Cameo while the show’s narrator, Mike Goldman, offers Joe Exotic impersonation videos for $67. Go off, (tiger) king.
Other reality stars who have joined Swysh include Australian Survivor’s George Mladenov for $66, The Bachelor’s Tim Robards for $66 and Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven for $83.
It’s only a matter of time before the 2026 cast of MAFS sign up to make some money off their TV stint. And honestly, after everything that show puts them through, who could blame them?
