People visiting Dobbies Garden Centre in Lasswade, Midlothian might find themselves doing a double take from today (30 July), as Sainsbury's have set up shop in the store's food hall.
Maybe they should call it... Dobury's? Or possibly Sainsbies.
Visitors to the popular garden retailer can now kill two birds with one stone. Gone are the days where you had to choose between a trip to Dobbies or a trip to the nearest supermarket. Shoppers can now enjoy a wider range which includes over 3,000 products, giving customers a choice of food to take home including ambient, chilled, fresh and frozen produce as well as other grocery, household and toiletry products.
Five shoppers will be selected at random between Thursday 30 July and Wednesday 5 August to receive the contents of their foodhall shopping basket, as part of the opening celebrations.
Winners will be selected by the team members at the till point throughout the week.

The store is open 09:00 to 17:00 daily with social distancing measures in place.
