Massimo Group has just teased its newest creation, the Sentinel 1500, a new six-passenger side-by-side with a fully enclosed four-door cab and factory HVAC, expected to arrive in showrooms in early 2026. The easiest way to understand it is this: it’s basically a family SUV that decided pavement was overrated, and off-road abuse was the better life choice.
That’s the one thing that really jumps out. The Sentinel 1500 isn’t chasing the hardcore trail toy crowd. It’s built around the same idea that makes three-row SUVs so popular. Bring everyone, stay comfortable, and use it all day. The difference is that this thing is designed to get hammered off-road. Doors, glass, heat, air conditioning, and real seating for six, all wrapped around something meant to live in dirt, mud, and snow.
That thinking drops it right into a fast-growing space where side by sides are more than weekend toys. They’re daily tools. Ranch rigs. Hunting machines. Trail cruisers you can actually spend hours in without feeling beat up. The Sentinel 1500 lines up against machines like the Kawasaki Ridge Crew HVAC, the Can-Am Defender Max Limited HD11, and Polaris heavy hitters like the Ranger Crew XD 1500 Northstar Edition and Xpedition XP. Even the CFMoto UForce U10 Pro Highland has proven there’s serious demand for this kind of setup.

Power comes from a 1,499cc four-cylinder engine that’s certainly liquid-cooled and oil-cooled. Massimo hasn’t shared specs, horsepower, or torque numbers yet, and there’s no word on top speed. And quite frankly, that's clearly intentional. This teaser isn’t about spec-sheet flexing—at least not yet. It’s about the idea that you can load up the family, shut the doors, set the temperature, and just keep going long after the trail gets rough.
The single teaser image leans hard into that vibe. Even with most of it hidden in shadow, the Sentinel 1500 looks more like a compact pickup than a traditional side-by-side. The hood runs straight back into the cabin before flowing into the cargo bed. There’s a roof-mounted light bar, big headlights, and a bold front logo that may or may not light up. It looks rugged, squared off, and purpose-built.
Pricing is still a mystery, but the smaller Sentinel 570 HVAC starts at $14,999. That puts the Sentinel 1500 right around the $20,000 range if it follows the market. If Massimo can sneak it in just under that number, it’s going to get a lot of attention from buyers who want the features without paying top-tier brand money.
This model also shows how much Massimo is trying to change the conversation around its brand. A lot of people still think of Massimo as the affordable rigs parked outside big box stores. But between the T Boss 900L Crew, the Sentinel 570 HVAC, and now this six-seat Sentinel 1500, it’s clear they’re aiming higher and going after full dealership buyers.
In SUV terms, this thing is sort of like a rugged three-row family hauler that’s been built to shred. Comfortable enough for all-day use, practical enough to justify the price, and tough power through terrain where pavement just doesn't make sense.
