So apparently Discovery has a reality show called Naked and Afraid XL which is basically Survivor in the nude, where a bunch of folks try to rough it out in the bush, sans clothes. What could go wrong?
Oh I dunno, maybe someone might end up smashing his fucking nuts?
Yahoo Entertainment reports that on Sunday’s episode of Naked and Afraid XL, a bloke by the name of E.J. Snyder fell from a tree branch and into the swamp, where he copped “severe lacerations” to his scrotum.
Apparently he was given the option to yeet himself, injured nuts in tow, out of the reality show or seek medical treatment and return to the bush, where he risks being hit with a potentially life-threatening infection which could result in the loss of his family jewels.
Welp, apparently he went with the former, even though he’s pretty much been rendered useless in the competition, due to his injury. Oh, plus the fact that he’s risking the aforementioned INFECTION. But yeah, he was told to stay out of water and to avoid moving for the next seven to 10 days, so that should do the trick, aye?
E.J. reportedly handled the whole thing like a champ, even cracking jokes to his fellow Naked and Afraid XL contestants about how he “almost chopped my balls off yesterday” before giving them a peek at the damage. No fucking thank you.
He and his co-stars will continue to make their way through Louisiana’s infamous Atchafalaya Basin, where they must hunt, gather and fish in order to survive.
