A blogging love-in

The teams are settling into their swanky Lancashire hotels, supporters from all over Europe are hunting through the sock drawer for their passport, and somebody's wound up the clunky retro Countdown clock on the whole tournament. Which is all well and good, but with introductory press conferences not scheduled until tomorrow and Saturday, it's all gone a little quiet on the Western front.

So I'll take this opportunity to first of all, let you know my email address. Nothing complicated, just georgina.turner@guardian.co.uk. The blog is an open forum so let me know if there are things you want to hear about, things you don't like, or even things you do, occasionally. If I was in full Guardian-mode, I'd be using words like 'organic' to describe what we're doing here, but I left my sandals and hessian smock at home today, so I won't.

I'll also take the opportunity to let you know that I will be having exclusive chats with England ace Rachel Yankey throughout the tournament, so if you want to know how she's enjoying the championships, this is the place to be.

And, while we're shamelessly plugging, a reminder of our brilliant Euro 2005 competitions. We've got:

- a pair of Kelme Katia boots, made especially for women, in your size, courtesy of Misskicks

- a brand new England women's shirt, signed by all the players, thanks to Umbro

- pairs of tickets to see England v Denmark

- pairs of tickets to see England v Sweden

- and a pair of tickets to see the final at Ewood Park on June 19

up for grabs. Not bad, eh?
