A bizarre early ‘Madden 20′ glitch makes footballs stick to players’ helmets

Ah, video game glitches, particularly in the Madden series. They are endlessly entertaining.

Gamers have early access to Madden NFL 20 and of course that means users are sharing some of the glitches that have popped up so far, and one of them is a weird one involving helmet catches (not quite like the David Tyree snag against the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII).

It appears receivers have extremely sticky helmets when passes are thrown their way. Just check out this clip of Minnesota Vikings tight end Irv Smith Jr. failing to snag a Kirk Cousins pass … before it lands on his helmet. That leads to a touchdown:

It happened here, too:

I, for one, love this and don’t want EA engineers to fix it.

(Thanks to Sports Illustrated for sharing.)
