Nottingham Forest face a big week according to Matty Cash after cruising past sorry Birmingham City on Saturday.
Sabri Lamouchi's charges produced a terrific performance in front of more than 27,000 at the City Ground to record their first Championship win of the season.
Cash, who was again deployed at right-back by boss Sabri Lamouchi, was assured in his position despite having new signing and former Arsenal man Carl Jenkinson breathing down his neck.
The Reds now have a double-header in London over the course of the next week, starting on Wednesday night when they face unbeaten Charlton Athletic at The Valley, before returning to the capital on Saturday to visit Craven Cottage and what looks a tough assignment against Fulham.
But Cash, hailed the win over Pep Clotet’s Birmingham as fantastic after goals from Joe Lolley, Lewis Grabban and Michael Dawson ensured Sabri Lamouchi enjoyed his second City Ground win in the space of three days.
“Fantastic win today! Great support at the City Ground. Big week ahead,” he wrote on Twitter.
