The Atlanta Falcons’ collapse on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys was reaaaaallly rough (did you see the win probability chart?).
The Falcons were up 20-0 in the first quarter and were up 29-10 at halftime. And midway through the fourth quarter, Atlanta was up 39-24. Per Yahoo Sports, someone took $35,000 (!!) and live-bet through BetMGM on the Falcons’ moneyline at minus-3333, believing the Falcons had the game in hand.
You know what happened next. The Cowboys scored twice, grabbed an onside kick that was woefully mismanaged by Falcons’ receiving team, and Greg Zuerlein kicked the game-winning field goal to complete the comeback. There goes $35,000.
One @BetMGM bettor on Sunday wagered $35,000 on the Atlanta Falcons ML -3333 on the live line to win $1,050.
Up 39-24 in the fourth quarter, the Falcons end up losing 40-39 to the Dallas Cowboys.
