If Sabri Lamouchi sprung a surprise or two at Millwall with his team selection on Friday night, then it was a more familiar one for the visit of Middlesbrough on Tuesday evening.
The Reds boss restored Ryan Yates, Lewis Grabban and Joe Lolley to his starting XI at the City Ground, at the expense of Rafa Mir, Tobias Figueiredo and Alfa Semedo, as he looks to return to winning ways after the 1-0 reverse to Cardiff 10 days or so ago.
Nottingham Forest supporters were happy to see Grabban and Lolley back in the side, given their importance to any hopes of success this term, while the return of Yates surprised one or two.
Given the players available to Lamouchi, fans were quick to suggest it was the best team he has available to him, given the continued absence through injury of midfielder Samba Sow.
