A$AP Rocky has addressed the swirling rumours that he is married to Rihanna.
The rapper, 36, and Umbrella singer, 37, have two sons - RZA, three, and Riot, two - and are currently expecting their third child together.
Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, teased that and Rihanna are already secretly married when asked by Elle if he looks forward to being a husband.
Rocky replied, "How you know I'm not already a husband?" and then laughed and said: "I'm still not gonna confirm it."
Elsewhere in the interview, Rocky opened up about his hopes that their third child will be a girl.
“I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl,” he said. “Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know.”
He went on: “I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
Rihanna announced her third pregnancy by showing off her baby bump on a star-studded Met Gala blue carpet in May.
Rocky said of the pregnancy news at the time: “It feels amazing, you know. It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up.”
“And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy.”
Rihanna is no stranger to a headline moment as she previously revealed her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl half-time show.
Rocky and Rihanna were friends for years before they became a couple, having first worked together in 2012.
Rihanna split from boyfriend of three years Hassan Jameel in 2020 and began dating Rocky, with the pair going public with their romance in 2021.
They welcomed their first son, RZA, in May 2022, and the Stay singer said becoming parents had brought them “closer”.
"We're best friends with a baby. We have to be on the same page, but we've always kind of had that in our relationship,” she told British Vogue.
“Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn't say it's done anything but made us closer."
Rocky fuelled marriage rumours in 2023 when he called Rihanna his “wife” in a speech to the crowd at the Spotify Beach at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France.
