A$AP Rocky leads outpouring of tributes as close friend J. Scott dies

Rap superstar A$AP Rocky has paid tribute following the death of his close friend J. Scott.

Scott - otherwise known as A$AP SNACKS, had been a member of the A$AP mob and the personal DJ of Rocky.

He also made up one half of DJ duo Cozy Boys, alongside A$AP Lou, and worked as a manger for multiple artists.

Following reports of Scott's death, many members of the music industry have taken to social media to pay their respects.

Figures from A$AP Rocky to Playboi Carti have shared their shock at the news.

A$AP Rocky first took to Instagram to lead the tributes but admitted to his 12 million followers he was struggling to find the words.

"IM LOST FOR WORDS , IDK WHAT TO SAY. RIP BROSAY," the Goldie rapper penned alongside a photo of him with the late star.

Collaborator A$AP Ferg also paid tribute on social media, writing: "Man words can’t even describe how I feel right now. Rest In Peace to my brother. This was one of the healthiest guys I knew but I guess God needed him. Gone too young “cozy boy” for life love u bro."

Playboi Carter posted a picture of Scott and said: "Love u bro wtf" followed a by a broken heart emoji.

While The Internet tweeted out: "J. Scott. love you . rest easy man."

Information on Scott’s passing is scarce, with a cause of death for the Atlanta born star yet to be confirmed.
