A 90s brunch is happening in Newcastle this weekend with Battenberg, Black Jack and Solero cocktails

If you were a child of the 90s you'll know it was and still is THe best decade ever and the era that gave us Take That, Spice Girls, Tamagotchis and more is being celebrated in serious style this weekend.

Like us, you've probably been counting the days (and probably hours!) to Bank Holiday weekend and it's not so close we can smell the BBQ and taste the cocktails!

Easter Sunday is always a cracking day and night in Newcastle and if you fancy starting early, city centre haunt The Alchemist is hosting a throwback to remember.

Saved By The Brunch will run from 9am - 2pm and for £25 per person, diners can tuck into any dish from the Eldon Square bar and restaurant's Brunch Menu, including Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, Avocado on Toast and a Full English, along with three cocktails.

And that's where the fun really starts as alongside standard brunch tipples like a Blood Mary are ones themed around the 90s including Black Jack, Solero and even Battenberg!

You can enjoy all of that to a soundtrack of 90s classics.

To book your table visit The Alchemist website or ring 0191 261 1112.
