A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Bradley Welsh

A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Bradley Welsh.

Sean Orman was remanded in custody after a brief appearance in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Tuesday).

He has also been charged with the attempted murder of a man aged 48 and the serious assault of a 22 year-old man at a house on Pitcairn Grove on 13 March.

This is understood to relate to the alleged attack on millionaire David McMillan and his son.

Orman is also facing firearms charges.

No plea was made and the case was continued for further inquiry. He is expected to return to court in the next eight days.

Trainspotting 2 actor and Holyrood Boxing Gym founder Welsh died outside his home on Edinburgh's Chester Street on 17 April.
