Police are asking for the public's help to find a missing teenage girl.
Gwent Police has issued an appeal for information to find a Newport teenager who has gone missing amid growing concerns over her whereabouts.
Asli Fergar, a 16-year-old girl from Newport, was reported missing on Tuesday, August 11.
Ms Fergar was last seen in the Newport area on the afternoon of Monday, August 10.
Gwent Police have asked for anyone with any information on the 16-year-old to come forward.
A police statement read that "concern is growing for her welfare."
It continued: "Ms Fergar is described as being 5ft 5, of medium build, with black and purple straight shoulder length hair."
Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting reference 2000289953.
Ms Fergar is also urged to get in contact with Gwent Police to confirm she is safe and well.
