A 16-year-old girl from Newport has been missing since Saturday

A 16-year-old girl from Newport has not been seen for more than two days.

Aimee Evans was last seen at Newport train station on Saturday, January 18.

Gwent Police have now confirmed that Aimee has been found safe and well.

Aimee is described as white, of a slim build, about 5 foot 4 inches.

She has long shoulder length blonde hair and green eyes.

A spokesman for Gwent Police said: "Anyone with any information is asked to call us on 101 quoting reference number 2000023911. You can also send a direct message to us on Facebook or Twitter."
