A 94-YEAR-OLD woman has been seriously injured after she was knocked down in a crash involving a motorcycle in Fife.
A 17-year-old male who was riding the motorcycle has been arrested and charged following the incident at Lochleven Road in Lochore.
Emergency services were called at about 2.15pm on Monday after the 94-year-old pedestrian was struck by a black Surron motorcycle.
She was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment of serious injuries.
Sergeant Tom Aitken said: “Our inquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash and not yet spoken to police to contact us.
“We are also appealing to anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”
