LUCKNOW: As many as 93 people tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday, while 197 patients recovered, bringing down the number of active cases to 1,275.
Among the new cases, 19 patients had influenza-like symptoms. The fresh cases took the third wave tally to 57,213. However, most of the patients have recovered while in home isolation.
Hospitalisation rate was about 5-7%. The death toll in this wave so far is 37. Chief medical officer Dr Manoj Agrawal said, “All those tested positive are recovering in home isolation and our team is keeping a close eye on the patients.”
Meanwhile, at least 4,901 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 on Sunday.
