NEW YORK — The annual Westminster Kennel Club dog show draws hundreds of the world’s very best dogs to New York City to compete for best in show honors at Madison Square Garden. Before the final stages of the event Tuesday night, the dogs prepped, primped and competed at Piers 92 and 94 in Manhattan, and many of the dogs, undoubtedly, look very wise.
Here are 9 of Westminster’s wisest looking dogs:
1. This dog doubles as an actual wizard.

2. This little guy can see your sadness.

3. He’s right there for you, with a lifetime’s worth of hard-earned knowledge, and yet you dismiss his sage advice because you are too young and headstrong to appreciate it.

4. If there’s trouble at the old mill, this sharp-eyed collie has you covered.

5. Just look at this extremely wise dog.

6. This Dalmatian has seen some stuff.

7. This little dog knows it deserved a spa day.

8. One dog knows to always stay vigilant.

9. This bulldog understands the agony of modern existence.

On the other hand, there are many dogs at Westminster who do not appear particularly thoughtful. While these are certainly very, very good dogs, these 9 dogs simply do not look wise:
1. This dog isn’t saying it definitely wants to play with the ball, but if you want to play with the ball it would totally be down.

2. “Oh hello, I am a dog; yes, you can pet me please.”

3. Too blessed to be stressed.

4. “Do you happen to have a treat? Hello! A treat? May I please have a treat?”

5. This poodle stood for this.

6. Can’t see a darn thing, could not care less.

7. This dog is very sorry he shook himself off on the new carpet.

8. This Rottweiler knows it shouldn’t have eaten that but regrets nothing.

9. Yup.
