LUDHIANA: Nine residents tested positive for Covid in the district on Sunday.
With no death reported on the day, the district’s toll tally stands at 2,098 and that of outsiders here is 1,049.
To date, 23,78,732 persons have been tested. Of the nine new cases, five were from OPD, three from flu corner and one pre-operative case.
The district’s case count is 87,506 and that of outsiders here is 11,668.
So far, 85,381 patients have recovered, which constitutes 97.57% of the total cases.
There are 27 active cases. On Sunday, 7,830 samples were collected.
No patient is on ventilator.
