Want to elevate your toes? These pedicure trends transcend the seasons, promising style, versatility and no small amount of luxury.
For many of us, the summer months are usually when our pedicure appointments become the most consistent, as open-toed shoes, strappy sandals and flip-flops become the default footwear. But having pampered and neat toes is very much an all-year concern, which is, of course, where timeless pedicure colours come in. If, though, you've been closely following the 2025 nail trends and want your pedicure to be as current as your manicure, there are a few key shades and designs we've spied popping up all over our social media feeds.
So, to keep your toes looking fresh and stylish, these are the 11 pedicure trends to request this year - be it for an occasion or your summer vacation...
11 classy pedicure trends we'll be seeing everywhere
As far as manicures go, we've seen subtle neutral nails and milky pastels - like buttery yellow - top the 2025 trends and from the looks of it, our pedicures will follow suit. Indeed, according to A-list manicurist and senior Mylee ambassador, Tinu Bello, we are set to see the continuation of clean and sheer milky tones but on our toes.
That said, there are plenty of vibrant and modern hues set to trend this year too. We're of the mind that bold colours, like black or cherry-red, are actually easier to wear on your toes, because, unlike your hands, your feet can be hidden away if your choice of pedicure perhaps doesn't quite match your outfit. Thus, the options are really endless, though we do understand why many prefer to keep things subtle.
As far as the summer pedicure trends go, Bello says requests for minimalistic creamy hues, 'sorbet brights' and punchy peach nails will soar. So whatever your aesthetic, there's sure to be a timeless or seasonal pedicure trend to suit, and we've asked the nail experts to walk us through them...
Our pedicure staples
RRP: £35
With a blend of peppermint essential oil, Blue Persian, Dead Sea and Pink Himalayan salts as well as vitamin E, tonic Bladderwrack Extract and amino acids, this scrub helps to exfoliate your feet, removing dry skin to reveal softer skin. However, do not use it on broken or irritated skin as it may sting.
RRP: £23
This shea butter-enriched foot cream is ideal for maintaining smooth and supple feet, pre and post pedicure treatment.
RRP: £30
If you're looking for a staple sheer nail polish shade, we recommend opting for a milky pink, like Chanel's "Ballerina," as it's versatile and oh-so-chic.
Like with nailcare, looking after our feet and toenails is paramount to a long-lasting and polished-looking pedicure. So, we would recommend adding a foot scrub (like Palmer's Foot Magic Foot Scrub, at Sephora) and a foot file (like the Jessica Pedicure Foot File, at Look Fantastic) to your arsenal, to exfoliate and buff away any dry and rough skin. A cuticle oil and foot cream are also ideal for strengthening and hydrating your nails.
1. Milky pedicures
Mirroring this year's manicure trends, soft and milky neutral pedicures are set to be very popular this year - especially in the spring and summer months. This sort of sheer hue is a very timeless and versatile option, as it goes with everything and just offers a your toes, but better sort of finish.
2. French tip pedicure
A French tip, like that of a bright red, is another timeless pick and according to Kirsten White, founder of London Grace, we'll be seeing a lot of this design in the coming weeks. "My favourite pedicure trend for this summer is the French tip with a neutral base, such as the London Grace 'Eve' nail polish and then adding a modern twist with a pop of colour for the French tip."
3. Luxe burgundy pedicure
A rich, moody burgundy never fails to look expensive, be it on your nails or toes. Picture this wine-like hue paired with strappy black heels or sandals.
4. Ice cream pedicure
The 'ice cream' manicure is proving very popular this season, so it only makes sense to opt for a matching mani/pedi. The look, if you don't know, features very creamy, neutral hues and is a modern, ultra-blended update on ombre French tip nails.
5. Peachy pedicure
According to Tinu Bello, peach is set to be a very popular pedicure colour: "For summer, expect more vibrant takes on pastels—think punchy peach."
Soft peachy hues are also already proving popular among the 2025 summer nail trends, so we definitely recommend opting for a matching mani/pedi.
6. Juicy cherry red pedicures
A juicy red is always a classic pick for a pedicure, no matter the season. As Bello notes: "The look is cute but grown up, and so can work for anyone. The beauty of such a simple shade is that the possibilities are endless when it comes to elevation. Add a glaze for a juicy finish, add cherry nail art for a fun edge, or add a cherry red tip to a classic French. Check out Mylee’s ‘Kiss Kiss’ gel polish for a perfectly succulent base.”
Red is always chic, especially for a holiday or occasion look - so if you're on the hunt for a versatile, 'does it all'-style of manicure, this is it.
7. Baby blue pedicure
With pale blue nail designs being popular, it's only natural that this would also translate to our toenails. The pastel shade is lovely for a spring pedicure and even a summery one, and is perfectly subtle - so it won't clash with your wardrobe.
8. Lilac pedicure
A muted lilac is also set to be in high demand this season, offering a soft hint of spring/summer to your look - that won't detract from your outfit and will only elevate your choice of footwear.
9. Pistachio pedicure
Again, we're seeing a lot of crossover in the manicure and pedicure department with pistachio hues being a popular choice for the spring and summer months.
10. Glossy black pedicure
Like burgundy, a glossy black pedicure is always a timeless and expensive-looking choice. While you might not think of it for summer, it will offer a very versatile and luxe touch to your look. That said, we can also picture this shiny hue in the autumn months, too - perhaps peaking out of cosy, open-toed slippers.
11. Sorbet bright pedicures
As mentioned, Bello predicts that 'sorbet brights' are set to be very popular summer pedicure picks. Think juicy, watermelon pink and zingy tangerine shades, topped with a luxe, glossy shine.
