Most countries have now introduced strict lockdown measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, ordering the closure of all non-essential shops and businesses - including nail salons.
As a result, many have found their regular nail appointments cancelled, prompting a flurry of responses online showing people how to take off their own acrylics.
Others, however, remain hopeful their nails will last until businesses are up and running again without breaking or falling off.
